property.

Members of the HTRT are trained in the use of specialized equipment and techniques to |
| | locate, remove, and provide immediate medical treatment to victims trapped in collapsed
structures. The equipment is transported by a custom built vehicle Rescue-578 and
RescueTrailer-579.
| | Confined Space Rescue

Members of the HTRT are trained in the use of specialized equipment and techniques to |
| | locate, remove, and provide immediate medical treatment to victims trapped in collapsed
structures. The equipment is transported by a custom built vehicle Rescue-578 and
RescueTrailer-579.
| | Ice Rescue
|
Sector involves standard shore, tossing and rescue involving ice emergencies. HTRT also |
| | has divers specifically trained to descend below ice covered bodies of water.
| | Dive Rescue
|
Rescue of persons or recovery of persons or evidence HTRT Water Rescue Sector is |
| | involved in the Ohio Water T.A.C. Response System. HTRT is equipped with specialized
equipment to respond to a variety of water conditions and communications equipment to
allow divers to speak with tenders on the surface.
| | Trench Rescue
|
All HTRT members are trained to Trench Rescue Technicial Level provided by the Ohio |
| | Task Force-1 (FEMA USAR Team). HTRT is capable of handling most trench collapse
involving underground utilities, construction site accidents, natural disasters and cave-ins.
| | Rope and Tower Rescue
|
All members are trained in tower rescue and advanced high angle rescue. The team trains |
| | on a regular basis and is well prepared to handle any and all rope calls.
